 CTD in Dark Valley

XR_3DA.exe caused BREAKPOINT in module "C:\STALKERSOUP\bin_DX11_SweetFX\xrCore.dll" at 0023:00A0CC85, xrDebug::backend()+165 byte(s)

No idea why, but I crashed a few minutes after leaving the lab in the Dark Valley, and all my saves now crash on boot. I reload my quick-save, and an auto save after I exited from the lab, and I immediately CTD right before the save fully loads up. I am up to date running on Windows 7 64 bit. Any help appreciated.

Edit, tested it out, I can reload to the auto save right when I exited the lab under the bandit base, but as soon as I die in the Dark Valley trying to leave, all saves after the lab exit auto save CTD. Its consistent after about 6 times trying to leave, auto saves, hard saves, no matter what, always CTD.

just so ya know ya aren't posting the correct error lines in posts, we need ya to get the last 10 lines or so of your xray_(name) log file located here

......\STALKERSOUP\_appdata_\logs

based on your description it sounds like a (Nil Value) problem, they corrupted my quicksave and autosaves as well when they happen

This sounds like the same error that I had in DV, and papanoel also reported it in Yantar.

I got around it in my usual sledgehammer-cracking-a-nut way by editing the turret_mgun.script file. I commented out the contents of the function containing line 48, and no more CTDs.

Yep it was a nil value issue I'm having the same problem as you guys, the errror that pchester posted.

my quicksave and escape to southern gate autosave got corrupted but luckily my Lab to DV autosave still works.

The corruption only happens if you die and reload your save at that point if you can get to cordon without dying its fine.
