PostSubject: Helmet overlays too bright at night; and how to keep the mask sound?   Sun 24 Sep 2017 - 14:01

Hi,

Found some info for other mods which does not appear to apply here.
Now I have opted for setting the Active HUD setting to disable but unfortunately that also gets rid of the breathing sounds.

I know I can completely deactivate the HUD, too. But obviously that has other major drawbacks.

Maybe there is also a way to "fix" the overlay to only use pitch black pixels where it is meant to obstruct the view?

Hi,

You are right, the normal breathing sounds when low on stamina still work.
However I mean the special gas mask ones you get constantly when wearing a suit with a mask.
Those are not played when Active HUD is disabled unfortunately
(Well the truely unfortunate part is that the mask overlays are distracting/blinding at night).
