I think that the SPSA 14 is probably a misspelled SPAS 14.

Now fixed in text by the spelling police... Wink

Honest, Officer Sword, Sir, I didn't misspell that word. It was that way when I arrived at the scene of the crime! I saw the Butler running away.

Clips, or Magazines?:

Yeah, that's what they all say... Take him away...

Clips, or Magazines?:

Re the weapons files, Aleks is still adding to them, so Dialogues are leaving those six files until they're done. Occasionally we'll do a generic replacement, like 5,56 to 5.56, and we can do a generic from 'clips' to 'magazines', but I'd be very grateful for your input later for technical and semantic accuracy. I'm still uncertain about the difference between 'silencer' and 'suppressor', as used in Eastern Europe... scratch

Previous Dialog kd6dm, Sword2012:

Same thing, Hollywood is mostly responsible for propagating the myth of a silencer. In reality, no such thing. All you can really accomplish is to significantly reduce the sound level of a gunshot. Suppressors are incorrectly called "silencers" by many people, including the devs of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Just saw the link posted by _Nite_, it's spot-on. I personally would like accurate terminology in STALKERSOUP. Sounds like a project for the future, I am willing to participate.

I use the Saiga Tactical "sniper", there's another good shotgun better?
The Saiga is cool, but without a doubt the Boar 12 'Hammer' most definitely rules...

20 rounds, full auto, and unrealistically powerful and accurate (probably to be fixed soon...  Sad )

I use it for everything except long range sniper shots and lobbing grenades... Very Happy

Unbeatable!
