 Cordon - moving gun

Got picture from chernomor of cordon, got back and started looking for the
 moving gun as is in the walkthrough, standing in the place to see it but
 nothings happening, well I have not seen it yet in the w/th it shows a
 pistol and nothing suppose one of the invisible fighters, probably some
 thing I have missed again. oh good fun.

It sounds as if the walkthrough is out of date, I don't think a weapon shows any more.

Make a save, get in position and watch the camp fire area through your binoculars. You should see a yellow 'hit box' which is the outline of the invisible NPC. He starts from near the back fence and settles by the fire. Center the box in your binoculars, switch to the camera and you should get a message that you are okay to take the photo. The NPC's name appears on the photo, but I think it is in Russian.

Yes, judging by the general reaction I assume that the game mechanics sees it as a weapon firing.

I have been trying to take a photo in the warehouse from a tower?, and is having a worse reaction
the entire base opens up on you, so I am assuming there's the similar problem as in cordon the
target is else were, just got to find it, I WILL get to dead city and on to the collector, probably after
Christmas some time...!!!

I'm not sure why everyone would attack you, if anything the Freedomers are less responsive than the Cordon NPCs for me. The target NPC used to become hostile and open fire on you after you took the photo, which meant that you couldn't finish the mission, but I haven't seen that happen for a while so I assume that it was fixed.

They might not like me photo shooting at the wrong person, but I will run with your scenario of
this photoing of invisible creatures, I am sorry I am asking so much about the progress I am
making or not, (do you want me to play it for you) , your a true brick when it comes to helping
gamer's, I will just have to use common sense and go round and round till I uncover the targets
to proceed, many thanks pchester

Well, like many others here, I made a lot of mistakes and died a lot of times in many playthroughs while I was figuring out what works. There is often more than one way to solve these problems, I am just telling you what has worked for me. I would always advise trying different approaches yourself, it is the best way to learn. However, if you are really stuck, those of us who have been there before will always try to help you if we can.

There's no way about it you are one of the main men at the top of the tree, at least as and when
I replay from sids place I shall know what to to do and even were. as SS evolves it can only get
better taking in to account what has already happened, here's hoping some really big changes
come about and you have to restart whether you like it or not, thanks pchester.
