 Waiting Room access

PostSubject: Waiting Room access    Sun 31 Dec 2017 - 21:46

Starting to chase out the gold bullion and am having a fair problem with
getting access to 'waiting room' I have tried the points to get in to with no
avail its straight to CDT each time with 'XR_3DA.exe caused BREAKPOINT  
in module' the cdt's I all ways seem to get, should I go back to the pre
storm time and try again or is there an simple answer to this issue, any
way to all have a Good New Year.....

What do the last lines of the error log say? Is your game updated to the new patch?

Hi pchester. do you want..complete Exception Reason or Registers or Stack trace,
I have it updated to.......15.. I seem to remember there was a small patch a while ago,
not sure about that though, I read on the Moddb site a note put up by 'Sword2012' that
a new patch was close by, but did not follow that, I check the updater every time i log
on, is it suppose to do the automatic response to an update I know it did a few patches
ago, just habit I suppose.

ago, just habit I suppose.

A new patch (1.1.0016) was released yesterday. If you run the updater (STALKERSOUP\UpdateSS.exe) it should install automatically, or you can download the .exe file here:

If that doesn't solve your problem, post the the last few lines of your STALKERSOUP\logs\xray_<yourname>.log file, from where it (probably) says FATAL ERROR. This may give us a clue to the problem you are having.

Ok thanks will go and try, but I had a thought over xmas I ran the older stalker games I have
some add on's such as 'misery' which one needs a degree of computer programming, and I thought
some of the older files on those games and mods may have corrupted a file around waiting room,
but will wait and see what happens with update and see if the updater works as should do,

Alas no crash and burn the updater only responded to double click to make it react it but it did go
for it and I created a new All save in the process as required, but there's the CDT that happened
before, hopefully I got the right info,

Yes, that is the section that indicates where the problem is - line76 of file stalkersoup\gamedata\scripts\tb3d_extra_pred_00.script. It looks like an earlier problem we had with dogs spawning (or not) in Recon.

Try setting extra_spawns = true to extra_spawns = false in your tb3d_modders.script. If that doesn't fix it, I can send you the script file with that line commented out to see if that works.

Hi again regarding my waiting room problem I did that 'true to false' , I have been wondering
it this needs to be left as is or as I have well cleared 'waiting room' should I reverse it, it has not
caused any problems that I have notice apart from huge packs of dogs. but they can be over
come, may be they are part of the 16 update more of every thing, just to make the game more
enthralling.

As far as I know, 'extra spawns' are only called at specific times, such as when you enter an area or pick up a particular stash. I only change these settings when I need to, then change them back when I have passed that point. If your game starts crashing again, set it back to false.
