When one raids the immortals safe after getting the codes you come in
 possession of a 'Anti-gravity gun' has any one found a good use for it
 or has it a part in an other story line that I have poss missed, that's
 happened a few times for me, but I suppose that's an other story.

The Gravity Gun doesn't have a purpose in the story (yet!) but it can be very useful for grabbing things that are otherwise out of reach. I use it mainly for pulling artefacts and other items clear of dangerous anomalies, or moving bodies that are blocking doors. It can also be used as a weapon, as it can throw objects (including explodable items such as barrels) with some force.

According to the inventory description it can also be used to create anomalies by firing artefacts at the ground at the correct angle, but I have never managed to do that.

Yes I agree the gun has a use for removing items from hostile places, the idea for the red barrels
and other exploding items is a great idea, but lugging it about on the of chance it can be used its
weight can be a minor issue, I will give it a chance and see what hinderance it gives, must give it
a try for high stashes etc probably wont work.......nothing ventured etc etc, I remember a game
some while back with a weapon like that was, if the item required was solid more or less you were
dragged to it by the gun, depended what was the heavier you or the item, thanks for the ideas
though....

I just remembered that the gun in this game was almost identical in design to the older one..

Yes, several items (and creatures) have been imported from other games.

I had the use of Intendo 64,,Saga..Eidos,, game systems so maybe why some things are
familiar, in Gothic the the player laid down on a bunk and covered him self up, how much
programming would be needed to get stalker to do that would poss be waste full.

There are a lot of things that would be "nice to have", but for the moment there are higher priorities. Besides, while I am always amazed at how much clever stuff our modders manage to add to the basic Stalker game, there is a limit to what the existing Stalker game engine can do.

I concur with that it must be mind blowing to squeeze a quart into a pint pot, I am very thankfull
to you all for packing in what you have done, I had a look the other day about computer algorithms
and programming though oh my god, I envy you for being able turn all that into a game for
entertainment, the best I can offer is a BIG THANK YOU, you all deserve it...long may it continue...
