| When I got the suit and the military license from Sid I am supposed to find some guys south of the broken bridge. I cant find them. And what's up with the car keys? |

After you complete Sid's first "special mission", he gives you another one to - Spoiler:

retrieve some documents from the Cordon military base. As part of this he suggested finding a special suit so you can pretend to be military and just walk into the base.
However, this extra task never went anywhere, and immediately completed. Aleks has now reinstated the missing part, but if you are already past that point you may still get the new dialogue out of sequence. Just ignore it and look forward to something new in your next playthrough! |

| lol, did this mission so late in the game that I was friends with the military from bridge vodka as well as the mil ID. Being .mil friends has made some missions, umhh, *interesting*. Walking past soldiers to get the headset for Dan, picking up cobblestone armor for Miser while checking up on my Cordon mil buds, etc etc etc. Just call me MO the |

Vodka.
Lots of Vodka.
Did I say, LOTS of Vodka?
Given to Kuznetsov at the broken bridge in Cordon. Lots of Vodka (generic Vodka, the "blue" bottle kind you can only rarely buy). Given one bottle per request for Vodka to pass the bridge (takes a while). Given enough, he fiirst becomes neutral, then friendly. Eventually his squad as well as other military become neutral, then friendly (as long as you keep supplying Vodka to Kuznetsov).
Makes some missions quite strange... |

I didn't keep count. I originally stumbled on the feature by accident, and not kept count since. A LOT. You'll get tired of supplying vodka, for sure.

I keep a stash on each side of the bridge in case I forget and arrive without any. Borov's store room provides a reasonable starting amount. I usually manage to keep them friendly, but in my last game I inadvertently brought a pack of wild dogs from the farm with me and they didn't seem to appreciate that. Kuznetsov stayed green, but the rest went back to red and one started shooting at me. Fortunately, as he was attacking me, his comrades didn't seem to object to me shooting back (often seems to happen where the other guy 'starts' it), but they never became friendly again. Ho hum... |

| I've never - Spoiler:

been able to give Vodka to the Sergeant on the North side of the outpost (even though he demands my presence to speak same as Kuznetsov),
so only keep a stash on the South side. I've brought dogs there multiple times without seeming effect. The friendly affinity of the squad seems fragile, however. Attempting to place Sakharov's transmitter on the bridge without bribery turned half the squad from friendly to neutral. |

| Related to friendly military, my first Arhara mission won't complete with friendly military. Even though I got the psy-helmet from the third floor scientist and have given it to Dan, every time I enter Agroprom I am prompted to speak with Arhara. My guess is that by not killing any .mil the game doesn't realize that Arhara and company have attacked the Agroprom military base. Several military are still present in the base, BTW.
Problem is, even though he has showed up in the train tunnel he has nothing more to say to me other than the typical "Hi, how you hanging?" |

This happend to me with hostile npcs, the only thing I did to get past that was to kill the military with explosives (ballons and green cans) it was hard, but then I could keep doing missions for him and other related npcs |

Hi sjohnson, that's just one of those level entry messages that doesn't stop when it should. I was enemies with all military last game, and the Arhara message persisted until later in the game. The bridge soldiers and Kuznetsov hated me so much that they would form a squad and pursue me if one of them spotted me. I have, however, experienced the fragile friendship of the military in previous games. BTW, the guy behind the Sgt. on the north side of the bridge is the one who will happily take your vodka. Kinda strange, but that's the way it is in SS. _________________________________________________ Один выстрел один труп

| NVM, the issue was addressed in the post, above. First time the message persisted for me, even in 16,8 tho.
Oh, and the bridge military no longer take vodka from me. I guess it all got to their livers! |
