| Hi, I understand that players should initially - Spoiler:
after a job for Sid at the Army Zone Checkpoint, go to the Wishgranter and afterwards follow the message to see the Marsh Doctor in Pripyat; is this still the requirement please? If so, does Sid have words to convey this to MO, please? How much leeway does MO ie the player have, please?
I hope to start the game either this week or next. Thanks and regards,bTrueB. _________________________________________________ TrueB

Thanks and regards,bTrueB. I don't know how much has changed since you last played, but I wouldn't worry about it. Treat it like a new game and enjoy the surprises along the way! The first part of Stalkersoup follows pretty much the same route as the vanilla Shadow of Chernobyl game, although there are several new maps that you can visit on the way. Don't worry, Sid and Barman will give you specific tasks that will keep you on track. You don't have to follow these missions immediately, but you will have to do them eventually in order to progress the main story. Personally, wherever possible I like to complete all side missions before moving on to a new area, if only to keep my Task List manageable. Some areas like the - Spoiler:
Swamp become available early on, but they don't directly affect the main story so I tend to leave the Swamp in particular for later.
You may choose to do it differently, it is really up to you. Once at the - Spoiler:
Sarcophagus you do have to visit the Wishgranter before you can unlock the coded door on the other side. If you try to climb the ladder to the coded door before doing the Wishgranter, you are now pushed back.
After the Wishgranter, you are free to return whenever you wish and complete the O-Consciousness side and the NPP North "rooftop gauntlet". At the end of this you are indeed teleported to Pripyat, where you meet Doc again. You need to complete this part before the next section of the main story opens up.
